We look forward to join the PPMC Transport Day 2019 on Friday 6 December, that will take place within COP25 in Madrid. The event will be hosted by the COP25 Presidency at the Chilean Pavilion and co-organised by GIZ and SLoCaT, on behalf of Paris Process on Mobility and Climate.
Transport Day 2019 will discuss how to increase climate ambition and enable climate action in the transport sector. It will feature a mix of high-level interventions, discussion panels and world café sessions aimed at facilitating thought leadership and multi-stakeholder exchange.
Bronwen was recently honoured to be elected Chair of the Board for the SLoCaT Foundation and will moderate the Opening Plenary of Transport Day 2019. This high level plenary session will focus on increasing transport ambition in the NDCs to bridge the mitigation gap by fully achieving the high mitigation potential of the transport sector.
