UN Climate Change Conferences

The United Nations Climate Change Conferences are yearly conferences held in the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

The COP26 summit will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Since COP20, Walk21 has been providing knowledge, capacity and advocacy at the UN Climate Conferences to help shape the global sustainable, low carbon transport agenda. We were involved in the Paris Agreement which is a legally binding international treaty on climate change. It was adopted by 196 Parties at COP 21 in Paris, on 12 December 2015
